You will be creating a slide show presentation to teach the class about your assigned vitamin or mineral. You may be as creative as you’d like and organize it however you’d like, but you must include ALL information.
Your presentation should answer the following questions:
1. The name of your vitamin or mineral. There may be multiple names, you may include one or all of these names.
2. Is this a vitamin or a mineral?
3. What is the function of this vitamin/mineral in your body? (Why does your body need it?/What does your body use it for?)
4. *Vitamins only* Is it water-soluble or fat-soluble? What does that mean?
*Minerals only* Is it a macromineral or micromineral (trace minerals)? What does that mean?
5. What can happen if your body has too little (deficiency)? too much? (too much of some vitamins and minerals do not affect your body; if this is true for yours, make sure you include that in your slide show)
6. What types of foods can you find this vitamin/mineral in? Give at least 3 examples of foods that you can find your vitamin or mineral in.
