7-1 Math Assignments

34 students did not complete the assignment on the Homeroom google classroom!!!  It is due tomorrow.  We need to get working on the book of memories, which we can't do if you don't respond!

Complete and Submit for Grading.  You must show all work for full credit.

Follow the rubric and in class instructions/lesson to complete the Financial Literacy project {Check Register} using google sheets formulas like you did in your PLTW lab on Attack Rates. This will count as a Summative Assessment for the 3rd Marking Period.

Watch the attached video and answer all questions. This will be graded as classwork.

Work on these questions if you finish MAP testing early; otherwise finish for homework tonight.

You can start this homework after the test. You must watch the 6 minute video first, then do the questions.

Go to the Macy's website (link attached). Shop for someone other than yourself. Fill in two charts for TWO gifts. Apply a % off coupon to your purchase (even if the item is on sale) and calculate the sale price then the final cost (tax included). You must use NY (8.875%) or NJ (6.625%) tax rate for your purchases.

Determine if a relationship is proportional from a graph, table and equation.
Find the constant of proportionality from a graph, table and equation.
Write the equation of a proportional and non proportional relationship.

Copy question and solve. You can do this on a google doc. Must be submitted for grading.

1. A cleaning service charges $45 for the first hour and $30 for each additional hour. Is the fee proportional to the number of hours worked?

Part a: Make a table of values (for 1, 2, 3 hours) and explain/show your reasoning. Use h for number of hours and f for fee.

You must have at least 3 numerical representations of yourself in EACH box for a total of 12. Make the poster colorful. You may only use the 8 1/2 by 11 template provided. Not oak tag posters. You can submit via google classroom or hand-in in class. Remote students must submit via google classroom. I have printed copies for in school students, so you do not need to print out. This counts as a Summative Assessment for the 1st marking period. I will discuss this week in class and answer any questions you may have.
