I will not be in today and there will be no zoom for either the morning or afternoon. Your classwork is attached. Please complete and submit the first assignment via Kami. Then do the IXL assignment.  If you have time, you can complete lesson 6 while you watch the accompanying video.


To find relative frequency, divide the occurrence of each category by the total amount. You will have first find the total. Read the solutions if you are having trouble, or refer back to the book or watch the video.


Those in school who wish to have a free period at noon today must BEHAVE and DO YOUR WORK DURING THE FIRST CLASS so you can have the second class off :) Your future is in your own hands! If I get a bad report from the covering teacher, you will have extra work to do instead!

Here is your spreadsheet for tomorrow's homework. Do the following:


1) Calculate the relative frequency and enter the values in the spreadsheet under the column "Relative Frequency" (express as a decimal and round to the nearest HUNDRETH). There are a total of 16 values. Your relative frequencies should add to 1 (or very close to 1).


2) Make a histogram of the data. REMEMBER TO SELECT THE DATA VALUES FIRST BEFORE YOU MAKE THE HISTOGRAM. Make a label for the histogram and the horizontal and vertical axes. You can also change the colors, fill color, etc. if you want. Make the bucket size equal to 3.

1) Please complete Khan Academy: Writing basic expressions word problems. This will count as a classwork grade. You must get at least 50% to get credit.

2) Complete Quiz 3 on Khan Academy, which reviews the distributive property and combining like terms.

3) Complete Module 4, Lesson 21. Video is attached. Please also complete the problem set. We will go over tomorrow.

Do not worry too much about the opening exercise with the tables. The other problems in the lesson and the questions in the problem set are more important.

Hi Everyone!

Here is the Module 3 test study guide. While it is OPTIONAL, I strongly recommend you complete all or some of it, especially if you did not do well on the last quiz.

You MUST complete the study guide if you want to go over any questions from it.

As with all assessments, anything we've discussed in class is fair game, as are homework and classwork assignments, the workbook, etc. The study guide alone is not sufficient.

As of now the test will be Tuesday, February 9. If that changes I will let you know. Have a great weekend!
