Math 7-2 2018-2019-7th Grade Assignments

Attached is the Math Summer Packet.  Please print out, show all work and mark answers in the booklet and on the answer sheet in front.  Packet is due the first day of school, Sept. 5, 2019.  It will be graded.

7th Grade Breakfast: First period.  Mr. Erickson and I arranged for an end of the year hot breakfast in the cafeteria on Wednesday June 12th.  You do not need to bring any food!  All will be provided.

Email your powerpoint zoo project to [email protected].  You have until Monday June 3rd to send it.  I extended the deadline.  Make sure you put the names of all group members on the powerpoint.

Sports Day Tomorrow: wear your team jersey.  If you do not play on a Hill team, you can wear your gym uniform.

7th Grade Trip to SI Zoo:

 

Come to school regular time.  Chaperones please wait by Golden Doors for 9:15.  

You can dress down.

Bring a bag lunch.  No glass bottles.

We will be back in time for regular dismissal.

Quiz: Thursday 5/16: Pythagorean Theorem and Triangle Inequality Theorem

The 7th grade trip to Medieval times is this Friday, May 17th.  We are scheduled to leave St. Joseph Hill Academy between 8:50-9:00 AM.  7th grade students are permitted to come to school for 8:30 AM.  They will not be marked late.  Upon arrival they will go straight to their homeroom for attendance.

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to chaperone.  Chaperones need to be at the school no later than 8:45 AM.  Please wait by the Golden doors. 

Students are required to wear their SJHA blue polo shirt and fleece for the trip.  They can wear their own pants and their school sneakers.  Students can bring their cell phone but we assume no responsibility for lost or broken phones.  Students may not use the phone to post anything to social media during the school day. 

Any student with a nut allergy is asked to bring their own small snack for dessert. 

IMPORTANT

We can not guarantee we will be back in time for the buses.  Traffic conditions can not be predicted, therefore please make arrangements for bus students to be picked up on Friday, otherwise they will be sent to aftercare. 

We are looking forward to a wonderful day at Medieval Times.

7-2 Classwork 3rd period Thursday: Make sure you completed all of the 2013 and 2014 review packets.  Answers should be marked on your iPad and all work, neatly done, in your notebook.  Start working on the 2015 packet attached and finish for homework.  I should be back Friday to go over all questions with you.

Classwork for Wednesday April 3.  THIS IS NOT HOMEWORK.  

 

Download and complete the 2014 Review Questions attached.  You will probably need to work out in your notebook and record answers on iPad too.  Show all work.  You may use your calculator and reference sheet.

 

When finished students may break up into their groups and finish the Experimental vs. Theoretical Probability projects and chart paper presentations they have been working on.  Only students who finish the 2014 packet (and the 2013) packet from yesterday may work on their projects.  Projects were started on Monday - they are on the cubbies by the Homework board.

Reminder: All students must bring sharpened #2 pencils for the ELA state test tomorrow.  Make sure you have a silent reading book to read when you finish the ELA.  Go to bed early and eat a healthy breakfast.
