ST. JOSEPH'S DAY BAKE SALE

 

There will be a bake sale on Tuesday, March 19th in honor of St. Joseph.

 

Donations are needed and appreciated. Help support our school. No nuts please.

 

Reminder: Monday you may dress in green to honor St. Patrick!!  

 

If you want to volunteer at the bake sale see me on Monday. Remember you will receive points and will build your service bank for you high school resume.

The outsiders chapters 326 Queens scheduled for Monday will take place on Thursday.

 

the spelling quiz will still take place on Tuesday followed by the definitions quiz on Wednesday.

Tuesday March 5:  Spelling quiz on the vocabulary from chapters 7-12

 

Wed., March 6: Definition quiz on those same words

MONDAY, MARCH 4: OUTSIDERS QUIZ ON CHAPTERS 3-6

 

The quiz will NOT include literary terms or ask you to determine motif/irony or things of that nature. It will be like the worksheets you had for the other chapters, but not open book so study your notes!! 

 

 

Look up the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. Write the poem in your reading notebook and write 6-8 sentences on what the poem means. Research other sources for it's meaning.
