Poem/ Short Essay to Commemorate U.S. Presidents
- Students will choose a President from our curriculum. They are write either a poem or short essay about that President.
- Students should base their poems/short essays on the President's achievements, major issue they have dealt with, or any highlight from their career that is a part of their legacy.
- Students will present their work to the class on the due date. The assignment is due Wednesday, February 20th.
- Students may choose a President from the range of 13th- 37th. Any President in between Millard Fillmore and Richard Nixon.

Holiday Break Assignment: Open Book Test
- Read pages 582-619 in your e-books. The topic is Industrial and Economic Growth.
- After reading complete the test that is attached. It is due on Thursday, January 3rd.
- You can attach your answers to google classroom or you can print it out and hand it in on the due date. If you print it out all you have to hand in is the answer sheets for the matching, multiple choice questions and the sheet for the extended response questions. Please do not print out the entire test.
