Basketball
SJHA's Basketball Program is open to students in Grades K to 8 and competes in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Basketball League. The Basketball Season runs from October to March. There will also be Pre-K weekend clinics. Depending on your grade level, teams practice 1-2 times per week. Games are scheduled on the weekends.
Being a member of the SJHA Basketball program means being part of a proud, competitive, and respectful community. It offers many rewards, teaches discipline, and helps develop skills your child will carry for a lifetime. Additionally, your child will represent our school with pride and spirit. SJHA BASKETBALL SEASON 2026-2027
Step One: Student Athlete and Parent Sports Contract
If you are interested in registering for the 2026-2027 Basketball Season please review and sign the St. Joseph Hill Academy Elementary School Student Athlete and Parent Sports Contract 2026-2027 by June 14, 2026. The Student Athlete and Parent Sports Contract (the “Agreement”) is required in order for your child to be eligible to participate in SJHA Athletics for the 2026-2027 school year.
Step Two: Register for SJHA Basketball 2026-2027
To register for the 2026-2027 CYO Season on an SJHA Basketball Team please complete the registration form linked below by June 10, 2026. This is open to all boys and girls entering grades Kindergarten to 8 in September 2026. There will be tryouts for specific grade levels. The tentative tryouts dates are late August / early September. Please note, more information to follow regarding the Pre-K weekend clinics.
In early September, your FACTS account will be deducted in the amount of $400 (registration fee will increase if a new uniform is required). A full refund will NOT be given if you register and decide to no longer participate after the registration fee is charged via FACTS in September 2026.

Please note: if you have multiple athletes registering for CYO Basketball, you must fill out this form again. A separate registration form is required for EACH payer.
If you are interested in helping out, please use the link above to convey your any roles you would like to be considered for. Roles include Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Parent. The roles are not guaranteed. Final roles will be confirmed based on team needs and availability.
