7-1 Spanish Assignments

Students should finish answering activity 3 from page 225.

Students will be taking the Spanish and Religion final on 5/29.  Students will also be responsible for handing in their 4th quarter flashcards.

Family tree projects are due.

Notebooks and workbooks will be graded.

Students should have their final exam packets ready for review.

Students will be completing the family reading comprehension assessment.  Study all family and party vocabulary.

Students will complete the 5A vocabulary quiz.

Students should be sure to complete the classwork activities (Activities 4 and 5 TB page 226) and workbook pages 85-87.

Students will be completing the 4B chapter assessment.

Students should prepare themselves for tomorrow's chapter test.  Students should use pages 83 and 84 to help them study in addition to our many workbook pages, notes and worksheets.  Make sure that if 83 and 84 are not completed, they should be completed by tomorrow.  All students should finish copying the new vocabulary fro Chapter 5A into their notebooks for next week's assessments.

Students will be completing quiz on the verb Jugar (to play)

Students should complete  the worksheet distributed in class and glue it into the notebook.  Students should also complete wb pages 83 and 84.

Written orals will be presented.  Students were given templates to follow and the necessary criteria was discussed in class on 4/16.  All students must remember to stick to the vocabulary and make sure to include the expression Ir + a + infinitive.

Students should make sure that workbook page 82 is complete and all in class worksheets have also be completed.

 

Please print and glue notes into notebook and view the posted ppt.

Students should be sure to have their paragraphs ready for discussion and corrections.  Students should also be sure to have the notes from page 208 in the TB and complete activity 18 in the NB.

Students will have a test on the expression Ir + a + infinitive.

Students should complete the Ir +a + infinitive packet.

Students should complete workbook pages 80 and 81.

Students should finish the new notes from page 206 and complete activity 14 if it was not completed in class.

We will be beginning a new topic with the verb Ir (to go).  Students should print out the packets and have them ready for completion when we return from break.  Please do not complete the packets until we have reviewed them together.    In addition, students should be sure to read the posted notes and glue them into the notebook and view the powerpoint.  Enjoy the break!

Students should be sure to have activities 10 and 11 completed from page 204 in the TB.  In addition, students should also complete wb page 79.

Students will be taking their 4B vocabulary quiz.  In addition, students should also complete workbook page 78 using the verb estar.  Students who did not complete activities 7 and 8 from page 203 in the TB should be sure to use the posted chapter to complete it.  We will review them after the quiz.

Students should complete activities 4 and 5 from page 202 in the TB.  Use the posted chapter to access the activities.  Both activities should be written out in the notebook and will be reviewed at our next class meeting.

Complete wb pages 76 and 77. In addition, all recreation project are due.

Students will be taking their 4A assessment.  In addition, flashcards, notebooks and workbooks will be collected for grading.

Students will be presenting their written dialogues.

Students should continue working on their dialogues.

Students should begin creating their dialogues once they been assigned a partner.

Students should complete wb pages 74 and 75.  Students should also finish copying the new vocabulary into the notebook from page 218 (Chapter 4B vocab).

Students will complete their Interrogatives assessment.

Many students have not been prepared with their homework assignments.  On Monday 2/26 we will be reviewing the posted Interrogatives worksheet and workbook page 73.  In addition, we will also be reviewing the distributed Interrogatives worksheet.  Students should be sure to have all necessary materials needed for test review.

Students should complete the posted worksheets and wb page 73.  Print and glue into the notebook or write each into the notebook.  An additional worksheet was distributed in class. Any absent students should see me to get it when they return.

Students will be completing a vocabulary quiz on the new 4B vocab.

Students should print and read this article explaining the uses of Interrogative words.

Students should print out or write out new Interrogative notes and view the posted powerpoints.  

Students should be sure to have Interrogatives notes from page 184 in the TB copied into their notebooks.  In addition students should also finish activity 15 from TB page 184 and complete wb page 72.

Students will be completing an assessment using the verb Ir (to go) and the contraction al.

Students will complete the distributed Ir worksheet.  Be sure to review all IR verb notes and power points.  Students should also be sure to review all contraction information.

Students will take a quiz on the contractions al and del.

Students that were absent should work on Activity 8 from page 178.  Students will complete parts for student A and B without working with a partner.  Use the model as a guide.  Students should be sure to have workbook pages 68 and 69 completed as they were due on Monday.  In addition, students should complete the contraction worksheet and glue it into the notebook along with completing wb page 70.

Students will be taking our 4A vocabulary quiz.

Please review the Hail Mary in Spanish.  We will begin to recite the prayer during Catholic schools week.

Students should complete workbook page 68 and the distributed worksheet.  Be sure to translate all sentences from the worksheet.

Please make sure that these notes are ready for class and glued into the notebook.  In addition, be sure to view all power points and complete any exercises found in the power points.

Please have these notes printed or written into the notebook.  Be sure to read the notes.  In addition, view all powerpoints and complete any examples that may be found. ( do not complete worksheet)

Complete wb page 67.  If you do not finish the 4A vocabulary make sure it is written into the notebook at home.

All junior high students will be taking their Spanish Midterm.  Be sure to study the distributed review packets, workbook pages, notebooks and flashcards.  

Students should be reviewing 3A and 3B and all corresponding workbook pages.  Use worksheets and notebooks when studying.

Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards will be collected for grading!

3B chapter assessment due on 1/3.

Midterm review packets should be completed and ready for review when we return from the holiday break.

Students will take a test on the verb Ser (to be) when we return from break on 1/2.  Students should also complete wb pages 65 and 66.

Both classes should complete the Ser Worksheet 5 that will be collected and graded.  Students completed Ser explanation and practice 2 worksheet today in class and translated all sentences.

Adjective vocabulary quiz will be given on 12/19.  Study all distributed adjectives worksheets.

Make sure all distributed Ser worksheets are glued into the notebook.  Students should complete the "Ser explanation and practice worksheet 1" and complete part B in the notebook.  Students should also complete wb page 64 if they have not done so.

Students should complete both distributed worksheets.  Make sure that all worksheets have been glued into the notebook.

Students should be sure to print the posted notes and view the power point.

Students should be sure to copy all the new Ser notes from TB page 158.  Complete Activity 17 TB page 159 and wb page 63.  Use the posted chapter to complete TB activity and notes.

Students will be given the agreement of adjectives assessment on 12/12.

Complete the distributed adjective worksheet.

Students should complete the distribute worksheets.

All students should complete the distributed worksheets and make sure that WB page 62 is completed.

Students should be prepared with their new notes.  View notes and posted power point.  Students should create sentences to complete the last two slides.

Any student who did not finish the new adjective notes must do so for HW.  Please be sure to complete act 13 page 157.

Students should be sure to study for their 3B vocabulary quiz on 11/28.

Complete wb pages 58-61. 

Students should be prepared for their chapter 3A assessment.  All 3A topics and vocabulary will be included.

Students should have workbook pages 56 and 57 completed for 3A assessment review.  Make sure that workbook page 55 has also been completed.

Students should be sure to complete activities 8 and 9 from page 154.  Please copy and translate the model from activity 8 in the notebook.  Workbook pages 56 and 57 are due on 11/20 and they will be review for our upcoming assessment..

Students will be given a test on the verbs gustar and encantar used with Indirect object pronouns.

Don't forget about our gustar and indirect object pronoun test on 11/14 and complete the distributed worksheet.

All food words from chapter 3A should be written 5 times in Spanish and 2 times in english.  Complete wb 54 and distributed worksheets.

View the powerpoint for our upcoming topic.  Students who did not have a chance to copy the TB me gusta from page 133 notes should do so by our next class meeting.

The -er and -ir verb test will be given on 10/31 to both classes.

Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards will be collected for grading on 10/31.

Both class should complete the worksheet distributed in class and glue into notebook.  Both classes will be taking their -er/-ir verb test on the 31st in addition to handing in Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards for grading.

Complete the worksheets distributed for Monday.  -er and -ir verb test will be given on 10/31.  Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards are also due on 10/31.

Students should complete the ir verb worksheet distributed in class and translate all sentences into the notebook.

Students should revise wb page 52 if needed.  Complete wb page 53.

Students should finish the -er and -ir verb chart and verb worksheet distributed in class.  All of these new words should be considered as vocabulary and should be used for flashcards.

Workbook pages 51 and 52 should be completed.

Students should print the conjugation lesson and glue into the notebook.  The power point should be viewed and the practice slides should be completed in the notebook.  (I suggest writing the sentences).  Any student who did not complete activity 12 from page 132 from classwork should use the posted chapter to complete the activity. 

Students will be having a vocabulary quiz on 10/10 and should view the -er/ir verb power point to get ready for our upcoming verb unit.

Workbook pages 49 and 50.

The seventh grade will be taking a plurals quiz on 10/3.  All students should be diligently working on their flashcards and practicing their audio regardless of homework posted.

Both classes should make the necessary corrections to their exams and take home quizzes.  They must be signed and test should be returned.  Please glue all take home assessments into the notebook.  Remember to study for our plurals quiz tomorrow.

Students should complete wb pages 47 and 48 and print out the posted notes.  Both classes should be sure to complete the distributed worksheets from classwork and glue them into the notebook.

Students should be checking the website every night regardless of email subscription.  Past assignments may be edited.

Students should complete the classwork activities assigned after today's test.  Activities 15 and 26 from TB page 110.  The Chapter is posted.  Be sure to write out activities in notebook.  Students should also complete wb page 45.

Students should complete wb page 46.  Skip page 45.  Tomorrow is our first in class test on the verb Estar.  Don't forget accent marks!

Complete the distributed Estar worksheet.  It will be graded as a quiz.  Do not glue into notebook.

Students should complete the distributed worksheet and glue into notebooks.  Part III translations can be completed in the notebook.  Students should complete the interactive activity from wb page 44 for extra help on the verb estar.  Use JCD-0124.

Students should translate all 15 sentences from last night's homework that was reviewed during class and complete wb page 44.  

All classes should print out the Hail Mary from the website and glue to the inside cover of the Spanish notebook.

Please finish defining the following prepositions of location: ( al lado de, delante de, debajo de, detras de, encima de) and review the returned workbooks.
