Spanish-7-1 Assignments

Students will begin presenting their quarter 4 dialogues with their partners.

June 4th is the last day to submit Flashcards if they were not submitted on 5/20.

Students will complete a test on the verb Ir and the contraction al.

Please complete the take home assessment and submit to google classroom for grading.

Students need to finish workbooks pages 69-71

Students should complete activities 8 and 13 from the posted textbook chapter in the notebooks.  These activities will be reviewed in class.

Students should view the contractions notes and powerpoint presentation.  Students should also complete the examples on the Contractions WKS page.  Worksheets can be printed and glued into the NB to study for the final exam.

Students should view the posted power points

Students will complete a vocabulary quiz using the 4A vocabulary.

A chapter assessment to be completed at home over the break is due on 4/29.

In class students read pages 174 and 175 from the TB and completed Activity 3.  Students also completed Activity 4 from page 176 and copied the blue nota box from page 177 in addition to the new verb Ir notes from page 180.  For homework, students should have workbook page 68 completed.  We will review these assignments on 4/29 when we return from Spring break.

Students should be sure copy the new vocabulary.

Students will complete an assessment on the verb Ser.

Students should complete the posted worksheet.  Make sure that part B is completed in the notebook.  Students should print out the homework and glue it into the notebook.

In class students copied the new notes for the verb Ser (to be) from page 158 and completed activities 15 and 17.  Students should be sure to complete these activities for HW if they did not have a chance to do so.  In addition, Students should also view the posted powerpoint and Ser notes.

Menu project is due.

Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards will be collected for grading.

Students should complete the posted worksheet and submit it to google classroom for grading.

Adjectives vocabulary quiz.  Review all adjectives given in class including those on your worksheets.  Worksheets given in class should be glued into the notebook.  Notebooks will be checked on the 20th (7-1) and 21st (7-2).

Students should complete the posted assignment.  Students should print the assignment and glue it into the notebook.  This assignment will become essential notes for our next test.

Students should complete wb page 63.

In class students reviewed the adjectives grammar tutorial and completed workbook pages 60 and 61.  For homework, students should complete wb page 62 and view the new posted adjective notes.

Students will complete a vocabulary quiz.

Complete workbook page 59 and Finish activities 6 and 7 from chapter 3 B.

All students should be sure to have activity 3 from TB pages 150 and 151 completed.  Students should complete workbook page 58 for homework.  We will review them in class.

Students will complete a 3A assessment.

Students should complete workbook pages 56 and 57.  These pages will help you review for Tuesday's chapter assessment.

Students should be sure to copy all of the new 3B vocabulary into the notebook.

Students will complete an assessment on Me gusta/gustan and Indirect object pronouns.

Students should finish the classwork worksheet distributed in class and wb page 55.  (Students should not complete the Ahora juntos portion of the worksheet. 7-2)

Students should view the powerpoint presentation and complete workbook page 54.

Students will complete an -er and -ir verb assessment.

Be sure to complete the -er verb worksheet distributed in class today.  Make sure that classroom worksheets were glued into the notebook.

Students should also complete wb page 53

Students will be completing an -er and -ir verb vocabulary quiz.  Students should use the worksheets distributed in class and the -er and -ir verb table to study for the vocabulary quiz.

Students should complete the posted worksheet and workbook pages 51 and 52.

Complete the posted -er and -ir verb table.

Students should take the er and ir verb vocabulary from yesterday's distributed worksheets and the er and ir verb table to create a study sheet for next week's quiz.  Students should write all verb out in the notebook.

View the powerpoint presentation and complete the final slides.  Remember to study for tomorrow's vocabulary quiz.

Students covered many activities during class today.  Students read pages 126 and 127 and completing corresponding activity 3.  Students simply stated Cierto or Falso for each sentence.  Students also complete activities 4,6,7 and 8.  Activities that required partners were done on an individual basis and both questions and answers were done without partners.

 

During last period students copied the new -er and -ir verb notes from page 132 and completed activity 12.

 

Workbook pages 49 and 50 are to be done for homework.

Students will be completing the Spanish midterm exam on 1/16.

Students were all given a Midterm review packet.  They are due completed when we return from Christmas break.

Complete wb pages 46-48.

Students will complete a plurals assessment when we return.  Be sure to know your Definite (el, la, los and las) and Indefinite articles (un, una, unos, unas).  

Students should complete workbook page 45 and practice for their paragraph presentations.  Do not forget about the plurals assessment on 1/3.

Complete this worksheet and glue into the notebook.  Students should also complete the take home assessment distributed in class.

Students will be taking a test on the verb estar.  Students will be expected to conjugate the verb for the subject provided.

The first draft of our paragraph should be submitted to google classroom by Thursday 12/13.  Remember to include the verb Estar and prepositions of vocabulary.

View the new notes for plurals for tomorrow.  Remember the 1st draft of the paragraph is due on Thursday, 12/13.

Students will be taking a vocabulary quiz on the prepositions of location that we have been covering in class. 

Students should complete the distributed worksheet and translate the completed sentences.  

Complete workbook page 44.

Students should complete workbook page 43.

Students will complete a vocabulary quiz using the 2B vocabulary.

Complete the posted worksheet and review for tomorrow's vocabulary quiz.

Students should complete this worksheet given for classwork and complete workbook pages 41 and 42.

Students should be sure to complete the 2B vocabulary in the Notebook.  Students should also be sure to have wb page 40 completed as well as viewing the posted ppt. on the verb Estar (to be).

Students should be sure to complete the distributed worksheets numbered 3.8 and 3.9.  Glue the worksheets into the NB when completed along with 3.3, 3.6 and 3.7.

Students should complete the posted -ar verb worksheet.  This must be submitted on google classroom and it will be graded as a homework.

Students will be completing a quiz on -ar verb vocabulary.  Please use the posted -ar verb table and additional -ar verbs given in class to study for the quiz.

Please complete the posted -ar verb table in addition to the work that was distributed in class.

Subject pronouns assessment will be given on 10/16.

Complete the Subject Pronoun worksheet distributed in class.

Complete both worksheets on Subject pronouns for our next class meeting.

Students should complete the Subject pronoun worksheet distributed in class today.  Any student who did not receive it may see me when they return to school.

Students will be completing a vocabulary quiz using the vocabulary from 2A.

Students should review the new notes and view the posted powerpoint.

Students should be sure to have all 2A vocabulary written into the notebook.

7th grade students will be taking their 1st of 2 review assessments.  Students should be prepared to cover articles, adjectives, gender and number, and plural rules as well as the vocabulary from vocabulary for starters, chapters 1A and 1B.  

Students will create an adjective man to describe themselves.  Students will describe themselves by making two columns titled Soy and No Soy for the body of the project.  A similar picture has been posted to remind the students what their work should look like.  Be sure to decorate, it will be hanging in the hallway.

Students will be taking a vocabulary quiz for chapters 1A and 1B.  Students should focus on Adjectives and Infinitives. 

All junior high students should check out the project link on my webpage for flashcard instructions.  We will be discussing flashcards in class.  Remember to keep your flashcards at home until flashcard check at the end of each quarter.

Students should complete the definite articles worksheet posted to google classroom and remember to submit assignment. Students will also complete a vocabulary quiz on 9/18 that will cover vocabulary for starters.  The chapter is posted on google classroom.

Students should continue to review the posted review materials and practice audio in preparation for the upcoming review assessment.

Students should be reviewing Vocabulary for starters, Chapter 1A and 1B from the 6th grade vocabulary.  Students should use the posted materials as review to prepare for next week's review assessment.
