Spanish-8-1 Assignments

6/5 is the last day that students have to present the Hail Mary in class.  Students were given the prayer in September, do not wait until the last minute. 

Students will take their Spanish final.  This is also the last day to submit flashcards.

Children's book due.

Notebooks and workbooks will be collected for grading.  Any students who wish to submit flashcards early may do so by the 21st.  6/4 is the last day to submit flashcards.  They will be collected before the final exam.

Students will complete a chapter assessment.

Students will complete an assessment using the verbs Ser and Estar.

All workbook pages to 102 should be completed by Friday.

Complete the take home quiz and submit to google classroom for grading.

Students will write a restaurant review.  Please follow the outline distributed in class.

Students should complete this worksheet by Friday, 5/3.

Please submit the posted worksheet for grading to google classroom by 4/30.

Students should complete workbook page 100.

Students should complete the posted worksheet and workbook page 99.

Students will complete a verb quiz.  Students should cover both regular and irregular verbs covered this year.  The quiz will have the verbs ir, jugar,ser and estar and regular ar,er and ir verbs.

Students should read the new Ser and Estar notes and view the posted powerpoint presentations.  In class, students copied the new notes from page 258, including the strategy box.  Students also completed Activity 16 from page 259.

Students will complete a quiz on the verb venir.

Students should be sure to complete Activity 13 from page 257 in the TB.  Please be sure to copy the blue NOTA boxes from TB pages 254 and 257 into the NB.

Students should complete workbook page 98.

Notebooks, workbooks and flashcards will be collected for grading.

Students will complete a vocabulary quiz on the 5B vocabulary.

Students should complete workbook pages 96 and 97.  Dont forget notebook, workbook and flashcard collection.

Students will complete a possessive adjective assessment.

Please complete the posted worksheet and submit to classroom.  It will be graded.  Don't forget about Friday's assessment.

Students should be sure to have workbook pages 90 and 91 completed by our next class meeting.

Students should view the new posted notes on Possessive adjectives and power point.

Students will complete an assessment on the verb Tener (to Have) and the expression Tener + que + the infinitive (to have to).

Oral presentation is due on 2/22.  Students will begin presenting after the Tener quiz.  Presentations will continue onto the next week.

Students should complete the posted worksheet and submit to google classroom for grading.

Students should be sure to have workbook pages 87-89 completed.  Students should also complete the JCD code found on workbook page 89.

Students will complete a vocabulary quiz.

Students in class completed an -er and -ir verb assessment.  Students also completed activity 5 from page 226 in the TB, the Tener notes from page 228 and activity 14 from page 230.  All activities were written out in the Notebook and properly labeled.  For homework students should read the new Tener notes and fill in any necessary responses.

Students will complete and -er and -ir verb conjugation assessment.

All students should be sure to have workbook pages 87 and 88 completed and ready for review.

Be sure to have workbook pages 85 and 86 ready for review.

Complete the distributed -er and -ir worksheets.

Students will be completing the Spanish midterm exam on 1/16.

Students will be given a vocabulary quiz on -er and -ir verbs.

Students were all given a Midterm review packet.  They are due completed when we return from Christmas break.

Students should complete the distributed -er and -ir verb worksheets.  Be sure to translate the sentences from each in the notebook.  Any students who received a grade on their paragraph should be ready to present tomorrow.

Students should complete the reading comprehension assignment and return by 12/18.

Vocabulary quiz will be given on 12/14.

Students should submit the 1st draft of their paragraph by Wednesday, 12/12.  Students should be sure to include the verb estar and prepositions of location.  Remember, your friend is looking for a lost item. All responses should be negative with the exception of the last response when the item is found.  Make sure to use the double negative. Students may also submit their work in a dialogue format if they wish.  The final submission will be presented to the class.

View the -er and -ir verb powerpoint and complete the examples found on the last slides.

Students should copy all new vocabulary from page 144 into the notebook.  We will have a quiz on Friday, 12/14.

Students should be prepared to complete an assessment that includes the verb estar with adjectives and prepositions of location.  Students should be sure to remember the plural rules and gender agreement.

Students should review the directions for our travel brochure project.

Students should complete the posted worksheets in notability or they can be printed and glued into the notebook.

View the posted powerpoint to prepare for our upcoming lessons on the verb estar.

Students should be prepared for an assessment covering both subject pronouns and -ar verb conjugation.

Students should complete the posted -ar verb worksheet.  This must be submitted on google classroom and it will be graded as a homework.

Please translate the 8 sentences from section A on the worksheet given and reviewed in class today.  We will review the translations during class tomorrow.  All sentences can be written into the notebook and the worksheet can be glued into the notebook.

Students will be completing a quiz on -ar verb vocabulary.  Please use the posted -ar verb table and additional -ar verbs given in class to study for the quiz.

Complete the -ar verb table and the review the powerpoint presentations posted to classroom.  We will be using these power points in class for the next two weeks.

Subject pronoun assessment will be given on 10/12.

Students should complete the worksheet distributed in class.  Please glue the worksheet into the notebook.

Complete both worksheets on Subject pronouns for our next class meeting.

Students should complete the Subject pronoun worksheet distributed in class today.  Any student who did not receive it may see me when they return to school.

Students will be completing a vocabulary quiz using the vocabulary from 2A.

Students should be sure to write the new 2A vocabulary.

8th Grade students will be complete a review assessment.  Students should be prepared for the preliminary chapter and chapter 1A and 1B.  Chapters have been posted to classroom.

Students will be taking a vocabulary quiz for chapters 1A and 1B.  Students should focus on Adjectives and Infinitives.  Students should also complete their Adjective Ice Cream assignment using Soy/No Soy and adjectives.  Don't forget to make the adjective agree in gender and include 8-10 scoops.

All junior high students should check out the project link on my webpage for flashcard instructions.  We will be discussing flashcards in class.  Remember to keep your flashcards at home until flashcard check at the end of each quarter.

Students will be given a vocabulary quiz on vocabulary for starters.  The chapters have been posted to google classroom.  These vocabulary words will appear on Review assessment 1.

Any student who did not complete the definite articles worksheet posted to classroom should make sure to submit this afternoon.  Students should diligently be checking the website and google classroom for updates, notes and assignments.

Students should be reviewing Vocabulary for starters, Chapter 1A and 1B from the 6th grade vocabulary.  Students should use the posted materials as review to prepare for upcoming review assessment.
