Our third grade mission is to continue to learn about our faith and to strive to live as Jesus asks. To facilitate this goal, both teacher and students will endeavor to create a comfortable classroom environment in which each child is encouraged to participate, in which each child’s contributions are appreciated, and in which each child gains the confidence necessary to readily accept the challenges of third grade.

Every Thanksgiving Holiday our elementary school partners with the Staten Island Giving Circle to collect items to stock their food pantry.

This year, they would like to collect for their "Weekend Backpack" program. This endeavor discreetly packs backpacks weekly in 11 public schools every week and distributes them to those children identified as most in need.

Since these specific families will have their kids home over the long weekend, they are requesting items for the long weekend such as cereal, cake mixes, frosting, hot cocoa mix, pancake mix, microwave popcorn and things of that nature.

Would you please join us in donating these items to the Staten Island Giving Circle.

Donations can be brought in starting tomorrow and through Friday, November 22nd.

We greatly appreciate your generosity in helping the children of our Staten Island community.

Parent Portal and Report Cards:

 

The Parent Portal officially closed on Sunday, November 10th.

 

The portal will reopen on Friday, November 22nd at 6PM so that you may view and print report cards at home. 

 

If you log in prior to 6PM on Friday November 22nd, the system will indicate your account is suspended. 

 

Your account is not actually suspended, you just logged in too early.

 

You will be prompted to email [email protected]

Please DO NOT use that email address indicated by the account suspension notice!

This is a system generated response. You will not receive a reply. Your account has not been suspended. It is simply not active as the portal is closed until 6PM. 

 

If you login as directed on Friday, November 22n, after 6PM and receive a suspension notice, that is because you failed to not log in frequently during the marking period, as suggested by administration (you should log in at least 2x per month). 

You will need a password reset. 

In that case Please DO NOT email [email protected] as suggested (see reason above). 

 

All issues regarding suspended accounts must be resolved by Mr. Pucilla. 

 

You must email Mr. Pucilla at [email protected] to have it reset. This will take several hours and you will not be able to view it until Monday, November 25th at 3PM when he has had sufficient time to reset your password. 

 

Again we ask that you do NOT email [email protected] as you will not receive a response.
