Description
-Support the Advancement and Alumni Relations office. This includes, but is not be limited to: database operations, e-newsletters, social media, e-blasts, year-end-reminders, invitations, campaign materials, donor publications, Advancement proposals, and stewardship reports.

-Manage data and operations related to all aspects of Advancement including; Raiser’s Edge, Constant Contact; Excel, Alumni/ae Directories.

-Leverage extensive knowledge of Raiser’s Edge to support and advance fundraising activities, from the generation of complex mailings lists, queries and reports, to overseeing data and gift entry, supporting donor stewardship and supervising maintenance of donor and alumni records.

-Assist Director with developing fundraising strategies and assessing outcome

-Write internal and external communications, including articles for website, special announcements, proposals.

-Assist Director with creation of promotional materials for donor stewardship and events

-Assist in the management of Alumni Relations projects Included: Reunions; facilitating relationships with Alumni; special alumni events; Alumni Directory, etc.

-Work closely with the Finance Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Advancement, marketing, public relations, communications, organizational leadership, or a related field.

Experience in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry. Ability to work well independently with capability of thinking through various gift processing scenarios, including research and data collection, with minimal direct supervision. Ability to respect and maintain strict adherence to confidentiality policies.

Four years of full-time professional experience in Advancement, non-profit management, marketing, branding or related experience in a service-oriented field, preferably in an academic environment.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects from start to finish and prioritize, ensuring that all timeline activities are performed and milestones met.

Graphic design experience is preferred.

Proficiency with electronic communications and social media, required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills required.

Participation in occasional weekend and evening events required.

Undertake additional tasks and/or projects at the request of the Director.
