On the tree will be ornamental paper tags shaped like angels. On the back of each tag will be the name of a toy gift for either a boy or a girl of various age groups. On December 7th each teacher will come to the lobby and take a tag from the tree for their class. We are asking each student to donate $1.00 to $2.00 of their own money for the purchase of that gift. The approximate value of each class gift will be about $20.00 to $25.00. Homeroom teachers will purchase the gift and it will be donated to the ACS Holiday Toy and Gift Drive. There is no shopping that needs to be done on the part of any parent. All monetary donations will be collected from December 6th to December 15th. Christmas wreaths are hung on each classroom door and once the teacher has had the opportunity to select their tag, it will be hung from their classroom wreath to symbolize the joy of giving. This is a simple way to bring a little Christmas joy to families in need.
