Principal's Message for 2023-2024 School Year

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at St. Joseph Hill Academy.  Our school has been providing a stellar faith - filled education to the Staten Island community for over 100 years. In my seventh year as Principal, I continually reflect upon all that we have accomplished and think about our plans for our schools future. I am proud of our dedicated staff and the cohesive working relationship we have built together with our students and their families. 

As a school family we have grown to approximately 650 students with more than 50 faculty and support staff. Our school boasts three classes per grade level 6th to 8th and in Pre-Kindergarten. We have an award winning STEM program K to 8 and are building an early literacy team PreK to 5. The faculty, staff and administration of St. Joseph Hill Academy Elementary school proudly supports the mission of the Daughters of Divine Charity to make God’s love visible to all.

Our faculty and staff are committed to providing our students with a stellar education in a true blended learning environment that incorporates traditional education methods, along with innovative technology to support learning in a safe environment. In accordance with our mission statement, we prepare each student for a life of faith, service, and openness to life-long learning. Students PreK to 8 are nurtured in a Catholic tradition and are expected to go out and serve our community. They are encouraged to reach beyond their comfort zone as they take new courses, meet new friends and join new clubs and sports.
