Club Description
Join Chess Club to learn to play, practice, or sharpen your chess skills! Play on tournament-style chess boards and participate in practice tournaments against your classmates. We welcome all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players.
As a highlight of our club activities, we hold an exciting chess tournament with Father Vincent Capodanno Catholic Academy in the SJHA Cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to test your skills against students from another school and experience competitive chess in a friendly environment.Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your game, Chess Club offers a supportive community where you can develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and enjoy the timeless game of chess.
