Debate/Mock Trial Club *NEW CLUB*

DEBATE TEAM:  For those who want to combine research with argumentation techniques to study evidence gathering, and improve writing and speaking skills. With guided assistance, students will research and prepare oral arguments to help them develop pathways to the logical presentation of an issue. 

MOCK TRIAL  A proven effective learning tool for students to develop useful knowledge about the law, questioning techniques, critical thinking, and oral advocacy skills. Members learn how to think quickly on their feet and adapt when things do not go as planned. It also offers students an opportunity to overcome nerves and hone skills before a supportive audience. 

Participating in a Debate/Mock Trial club will certainly enhance a high school application, regardless of the intended career path.
