CM Kustom Woodworking Club

Club Description
An introduction to woodworking and crafts. This class is designed to help your child gain confidence and learn important skills to help them succeed, now and in the future. Learn the ins and outs of basic woodworking techniques, tools and safety and have fun creating art while doing so. We will learn about sanding, simple measuring and marking, hammering, drilling and more. Learn how to identify different tools, what they're used for and most importantly, how to use them safely and properly. This is a great way for young children to start a new hobby and learn the importance of working with their hands!

Each week we will focus on one new skill and technique, while also creating a simple but fun art piece. Throughout the weeks, we will use the skills we've learned to build larger projects including a handmade wooden toolbox and birdhouse.
