Important Information 10/4

Today was the first time our class used the upper gym to eat lunch. As Mr. Hansen indicated in his emails, we knew that there would be some issues with this transition. We are evaluating the matter and making adjustments. By next week we are sure the situation will be much more manageable.

We recognize that students in many of the lower grades are beginning the year at an academic deficit.  Many students worked entirely remotely last year and we recognize that there are grade level needs, as well as, specific individual student needs to be addressed. We as a school are actively working to accommodate all students and close those gaps. Along with the assistance of our Catapult Instructional Specialists (who will be available shortly) and our ADAPP counselor, we will continue to work with parents to address all matters. It is important that if you have concerns, you should speak directly with the teachers. As educators in the classroom, we can provide you with more specific and targeted answers to your questions. Additionally, the school has hired two additional staff to work collaboratively with teachers and students in grades 1 to 4.
