As an educator, we aspire to encourage a love of learning in all students. By integrating students’ interests and showcasing their unique talents, we hope to make all subjects engaging and motivating to each learner.  Developing skills and study habits that will set the foundation for upper elementary school is a key component of fourth grade.  In addition, preparing students for the NY State test is a critical part of fourth grade.  Opportunities to make choices independently will also be provided where students develop self-direction and self-sufficiency.  Ultimately, students will be expected to work hard, but will benefit from their efforts with the growth and progress they make.
