SJHA STEM Symposium

About Our STEM Symposium - It's More Than A Science Fair!

Join us for an exciting showcase of student innovation and discovery at St. Joseph Hill Academy Elementary School's 3rd Annual STEM Symposium! This interactive event celebrates our robust, award-winning Project Lead the Way STEM curriculum (Launch and Gateway Programs) and the remarkable achievements of our students.

What to Expect

  • Interactive Demonstrations by PLTW Gateway students (Grades 6-8): the students will conduct live experiments throughout our Science Lab, Collaborative Learning Technology Center, and Technology Lab, offering hands-on opportunities to experience their year-long learning.
  • PLTW Launch Showcase: Grades 1-5 projects will be displayed in the auditorium, with our 5th graders personally guiding visitors through a gallery walk of this work.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: Witness how our students utilize SJHA's cutting-edge collaborative learning spaces and tools to bring their STEM projects to life.

NEW THIS YEAR: Some exciting Mathematics and Flight & Space projects will be on display as well.

This isn't just a traditional science fair! It's an immersive journey through the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics as experienced by our talented students of all ages!

Come see firsthand how SJHA is preparing the next generation of innovators, critical thinkers, and problem solvers through our comprehensive STEM education program.

All accepted students for the 2025-2026 school year are encouraged to attend!
