This past Saturday night, St. Joseph Hill Academy showed its school spirit at Senior Night to celebrate both of the 8th grade basketball teams’ last games at Hill. The SJHA cheerleaders performed an outstanding routine at halftime. All of the 8th graders (and some 7th graders) on the teams received decorated posters with their name and basketball jersey number made by the cheerleaders. The coaches (Jerry Lee and Nick/Carmine Mastrogiulio, Christina DeAngelis) said a few words to congratulate each player and cheerleader on a great season. There was also a DJ (Johnny Beez), a 50 50 raffle, and pizza after the games. The night was very fun and was a great way to commemorate the 8th grade basketball players.
