Creative Writing *NEW REVAMPED CLUB*

Club Description
In this club, students of all ages will expand on their creative ideas and bring their imaginations to life through writing. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced writer, you’ll work with fun prompts, support each other in editing, and even contribute to a published book at the end of the club. For our younger writers, we’ll introduce online writing tools using school computers, helping them develop their computer and technology skills. This is the perfect place to grow as a writer, explore new ideas, and have fun while improving your writing and imagination! This is a wonderful club for any student with a vivid imagination, a love for story-telling or who needs a little extra help with their writing skills.

Not only do we publish pieces of the student's amazing work, they create beautiful pieces of art that illustrate their words. The writing and art that students do will be published by Student Treasures Publishing Company. The school will receive a free copy and parents could purchase a copy as well. The book came out amazing last year and is in our school's library for all to read.

Using tools like Google Docs and Slides helps students collaborate, share their work, and receive real-time feedback. Google Docs allows for easy editing and group work, while Slides can be used to create visually engaging presentations of their stories. Additionally, programs like Mega Minds, with its 3D learning environments, can make storytelling more immersive and fun, enhancing creativity and improving memory retention. These tools help students build essential tech skills while fostering their creativity in writing.
